Ulberg took advantage of his opponent’s reckless approach, ultimately sealing his victory with a clean left hand during a furious exchange.

Elsewhere, Diego Ferreira garnered the card’s other $50,000 “Performance of the Night” award for his come-from-behind triumph against Mateusz Rebecki at lightweight. After getting dropped in the opening stanza, Ferreira gradually took control, ultimately finishing his Polish adversary with ground-and-pound at the 4:51 mark of Round 3.

Finally, Trey Waters and Billy Goff received “Fight of the Night” honors and $50,000 apiece for their welterweight slugfest on the preliminary card. While both combatants traded willingly throughout the bout, Waters’ proved to be the more impactful striker, ultimately earning a unanimous decision on the judges’ scorecards.
